Terms of Service

Last updated: 08/05/2026

These Terms of Service govern the use of the GoWrite platform. By using the service, you fully accept these terms.

1. Description of the Service

GoWrite is a web platform for creative and professional writing that allows you to organize projects, write texts, manage characters and locations, and export manuscripts in various formats.

2. Registration and Account

3. Subscriptions and Payments

3.1 Plans

GoWrite is available with a 30-day free trial, then €29/year. You can cancel at any time. Prices are shown on the pricing page.

3.2 Payment and Renewal

3.3 Right of Withdrawal and Refunds

Pursuant to Art. 59(o) of the Consumer Rights Directive (EU 2011/83/EU), the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to the supply of digital content not supplied on a tangible medium if performance has begun with the consumer's prior express consent.

Since GoWrite offers a 30-day free trial to fully evaluate the service, by starting the paid subscription (at the end of the trial) the user expressly consents to the immediate performance of the service and acknowledges the loss of the right of withdrawal. Therefore, after the annual fee of €29 has been charged, no refunds will be issued. The user can avoid the charge by cancelling the subscription at any time within the 30-day trial period.

4. User Content

5. Acceptable Use

You may not use GoWrite for illegal activities, distributing malware, accessing other users' data, overloading servers or reverse engineering the platform.

6. Service Availability

GoWrite strives for maximum availability but cannot guarantee 100% uptime. We are not liable for losses resulting from service interruptions.

7. Limitation of Liability

GoWrite's maximum liability is limited to the amount paid by the user in the last 12 months.

The user is solely responsible for making periodic backup copies of their own content. GoWrite shall not be liable for the accidental loss of data or content, regardless of the cause.

8. Changes

Material changes will be communicated by email with at least 30 days' notice.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Italian law.

10. Online Dispute Resolution (ODR)

Pursuant to EU Regulation 524/2013, the European Commission provides an online platform for the resolution of disputes between consumers and traders, accessible at: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr
